D2L is UWM's learning management system that supports teaching and learning for both face-to-face and online settings. Members of the UWM community can log into D2L using their ePantherID. Instructors are automatically added to courses in D2L. Most courses are added to D2L one month after they become available for student enrollment in PAWS.
Make sure you are the instructor of record for the course. Your department chair, manager or school administrative staff can assist you with this. Once you are assigned as the instructor of record, it can take up to 24 hours to access your course in D2L.
If you are the instructor of record and still cannot access the course site on D2L, use the Course Request form. In the form, note the course you are trying to access and provide as much information as possible.
D2L is integrated with other services offered on-campus, and through third party providers ssuch as textbook publishers and content distributors. Click a link to learn more about these tools.
